I slept on it, and I'm still upset about the Wizards' loss. Feels almost like a Cavs' loss. Home-court was within our grasp. Damn you, Nene! Damn you to hell!

This was Wall's first game back. He'll be better in game 6, Wiz will win on their home court. Brings it to a game 7. Hopefully we can close it out tonight then the Wiz-Hawks go 7.

I don't think either team will beat the Cavs in the ECF.

The Bulls have been and will be the biggest threat. Tonight is a absolute must win.

Pierce turned to the bench and said, “Series.” The bravado was heard by people sitting nearby.

Oops.

The Hawks pulled out an 82-81 victory when Al Horford scored on a putback with one second remaining. It’s the Hawks that now hold a 3-2 series advantage.

With wiz winning 4-0, and Hawks winning 4-2 against terrible teams in the first rounds, and with the current series being 3-2.

Not sure if the wiz are that improved or that the Hawks have been exposed.. Hard to gauge.

The problem IS that Nene heard what Pierce said.

Since the series was over, Nene didn't feel like he needed to hold on to that rebound...

Toronto is a terrible team
Torotnto, Boston, Milwaukee and New jersey.
not sure how their matchups in the first round differentiate any of the teams in the conference finals.. Bulls struggled against the bucks and now they are 3-2 against the cavs.

Washington meanwhile has been holding the Hawks to about 6% below their regular fg average. Yet the Hawks managed to reclaim home court advantage.

perhaps you would have an easier time guaging by the series itself as opposed to what their series record was the first round

No one is beating the Warriors this year.

I'm concerned about them mainly because they've been pretty healthy. They just seem like golden children this year.

Doc Rivers catches a lot of shit for his roster construction, but the man went to L.A. and immediately did two things Del Negro couldn't do.

First, he gave DeAndre Jordan confidence. It's changed his career.

Second, he stopped listening to the outside media types (Barkley) about what Blake Griffin SHOULD be and instead put him in positions to excel at what he is. And what he is is a bigger Shawn Kemp. No, his back to the basket game isn't dominant, but he has terrific handles and great court vision. So instead of posting him up on the block 20 times a night, you give him the ball in the high post, allow him to face up and make plays.

I love the Clippers owner though. That dude is always super enthusiastic. Looks like a little kid getting taken to his first NBA game, every game.
