2015 NBA Playoffs Thread

Monty strikes me as a Scotty Brooks type. Solid at developing young guys, gets them to buy in and play defense, ultimately not good enough offensively to take them to the next level.

Who knows, maybe that'll change.

I don't think Monty has ever had the chance to. His first year he got them into the playoffs and they took the Lakers to 6 games when they still had Paul, David West, and Marco Belinelli. Then Paul left and they rebuilt. The talk of firing Monty if they didn't make the playoffs was insane. This has been a great series and I see it going back to the bay 2-2.
 
I said this when we dominated Golden State earlier this year...they're not a team that knows how to play from behind. They've beasted this year by getting out to early leads and then feeding off the energy of the crowd. If you kick them in the mouth, though, they fold. They're just a mentally weak team that loses their composure when they have to play from behind.

Remember when Fedor said no one knows who Ryan Anderson is (saying he is a nobody and a scrub)? well, he should watch this game.

The Warriors are missing shots but the Pelicans are just not boxing out.

Have the Celtics had a single put back slam this entire series? I've seen like four tonight from the Warriors. Gotta fucking box out.
 
It's really sad that the Pelicans have pissed this lead away. Curry and Thompson are tossing up bricks and the Pelicans just keep letting the Warriors get offensive rebounds and put backs.
 
Have the Pelicans grabbed a board this quarter? this entire run has been 3 point bricks and put backs. Painful.
 
Anyone who's been down on Kevin Love...he at least boxes out. This Warriors run has been pathetic.

Still really hoping they can hold out and get the win. The Bucks game was enough disappointment for one night.
