That was probably the biggest choke I have ever seen in a basketball game. Ever.

A consensus mock has Russell dropping down to number 10. If he fell that far or farther, we should try to trade up to get him. It would probably cost us Shump and 1st's though. I guess it depends on how much you believe in him.

But I guess it's most likely he won't drop that far. You just never know. Weird things happen in the draft. I'll be honest, I don't know much about his game but he reminds me of Jabari of what I've seen of him. In the way that he looks like he has a more polished and refined offensive game already.

D'Angelo is a bit more guard oriented than Jabari. He's a great playmaker and an underrated passer. I definitely think he could be the best player out of this draft.

Portis looks big enough to be just a center, but apparently he is a PF. I could see him doing well in the TT role in the NBA. Matter of fact, I think alot of players in this tournament can play the TT role for NBA teams. That is why I don't want to pay him 10+ mil a year.

Overall, after 1st day I am not too mad about the picks..

I have 3 Sweet 16 teams out (Iowa St., Baylor, Texas)
I have 1 Elite 8 team out (Texas)

If I can nail the rest of my Elite 8's, I will be happy.

I am really debating about going down to campus tomorrow and seeing if any Oklahoma/Albany fans will give up their tickets for free when they leave, to catch Dayton play.

Isn't TT one of the best offensive rebounders and sixth men in the NBA? I'm not sure that will be easy to replace.

But overall, I like his game.

I never understood why the talking heads were calling this game the upset special. The Lumberjacks are a small school whose biggest decent player is 6'6. Utah has a lottery-bound true center who can actually play. If you've actually played this game, you know how that scenario turns out.

I like UC Irvine and Buffalo to hang in there with their respective matchups. I think Belmont at their best can absolutely hang with a banged up UVA.

Of course, I'd be confident to if I were choosing the 5 seed as well. If you've ever actually played the game, you'd know how that usually turns out.
