2015 NFL Draft Thread - April 30 - May 2 - Chicago, IL

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Browns give up
111 - 72 pts
147 - 32.6 pts
202 - 10.6 pts
Total: 115.2

Browns acquire
96 - 116
219 - 3.8
Total: 119.8

Again, pretty much identical.

Haha I love Cooper but it's almost laughable that we're taking another lineman. Farmer just does not give a fuck about our passing game. Run the game and stop the run. That's the beginning and end of the philosophy.

Kinda eerie how similar this year's second day is to last years.

Bitonio is sort of like Orchard. Solid player might end up playing a big role. Bitonio ended up being great.

West and Johnson are RBs.

Kirksey and Cooper are sort of the WTF random picks.

Cooper, BTW, is an interior pass rusher. Absolutely not a run stopper, situational interior pass rusher all the way.

So I assume Phil is going to be kept outside now?

The pass game works as long as the run game works. Predictable passing situations cause issues, but thats usually the case in football unless you have the best of the best at QB.

Just look at it like this, before the Duke, we have not one vertical threat, after the Duke, we have one.

Whether if its on a punt return, a handoff, or a pass out of the backfield. We have a speedy guy who looks promising, just hope its a hit.

People are already pegging him to be a starter at some point, and if you like Gio Bernard then you'll damn sure like Duke.

Can't wait to see what he can do with a simple screen pass with our mammoth line blocking for him.

He's a rotational guy for us... I honestly wonder how deep our rotation is going to be this year. We have a LOT of guys there.

They have that same thing with Gabriel, IMO.

If the Browns had a QB who could throw the deep ball, like McCown, Gabriel would have had a ton of TD's and yards last year.

Xavier Cooper will play some DE and DT in this defensive front.

Wish Chiefs would have got Paul Dawson. Guess they feel we don't need a ILB since he was the last good one left. I like Steven Nelson though, people been saying he was going to be a steal for some team for weeks.

Why has TJ Clemmings fell so far? His injury really that bad?

People on here/twitter complaining about not taking a WR after every pick are far more annoying than us not taking one.

People need to just realize that we aren't going to take a WR high and come to peace with it.

If that was true, he wouldn't have signed WR's in free agency.

The WR's we could acquire at this point are no better than the guys we already have. He's drafting the positions for which we need rotational depth.

Our defensive line depth going into camp is insane.
