Wasn't a strong outing. He has an awful inning where, had Kipnis not thrown a runner out at the plate, Kluber could have been run off. The very defense we are told is killing him helped keep him in.
Nah, what we saw was the same thing that inflated his stats in the minors- the random hiccups where he would get smacked around- reared up again. Not sure if he is just not making an adjustment or what. 3rd time the Royals have banged him around.
Kluber Is like a machine that breaks down a lot but when it gets fixed it is On. That said Bauer and Salazar will be our big one two punch for a few years. Kluber will be there as well but when our starting rotation clicks watch out, Assuming we can actually hit the ball on a constant basis.
