I'm not all informed on baseball free agency or who exactly the Indians could acquire via trade this winter, but hopefully they land 1 or 2 at the right price.

Yes, it's interesting that we spend only $76M on salaries and the Yankees spend $216M, yet we can't seem to get and keep a single true home run hitter, which would cost us an additional $20M per year. Need some Dan Gilbert thinking on that issue.

But, you are correct. Gotta give him some runs especially against a guy who is starting in only his 2nd MLB game.

You realize he would have to throw a complete game every time for this to be true, right?

He's always been a 6 inning pitcher, so for arguments sake lets go half way between your 3-4 runs allowed that you're "letting slide" and say he averages 6 IP a game and 3.5 earned runs per game for the rest of the year. That is a 5.25 ERA, which would be good for the 4th highest starting pitcher ERA in all of baseball.

Yeah, that shit wouldn't slide with me. That shit would get old fast.
