2015 Series #43 -|- Indians @ Blue Jays -|- August 31st and September 1st and 2nd

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thanks to bad Bauer showing up, you guys don't need to watch this game.

Going to be a long night....

Bauer no command AND getting squeezed.....could be dangerous unless he straightens it out quick.

Fire it up?

Oh cool. PyroK Meter done. Time to check on the progress of my MGSV download.

Bauer is what he is. A guy with a ton of talent who refuses to learn. Severe smartest man in the room syndrome.

If only they allowed him time in the dugout in between pitches to calculate what level of skewness the pitch at both maximum and minimum velocities would be enough to generate a swing and a miss we might have something.

He will win some games on talent alone. It is why he was drafted third overall. He will also lose games on his mental makeup alone. it is why he was dealt to us.

Bauer will likely be one of those guys who miraculously gets it one year.

This hasn't been that year.

I'd be shocked if Shawn Armstrong isn't playing a key bullpen role in the near future.

28 year old Carlos Carrasco took 4 years here to 'get it' and was a couple bad outings from being DFAd. He is untouchable. Yet 24 year old Trevor Bauer has already been determined as a lost cause that the team needs to jettison. Too funny. Although I have to admit, I do like how the 'uppity white man' argument is used for dealing him. Something refreshing about that shoe being put on the other foot.

I don't think cookie is untouchable, and I don't think Bauer is a lost cause.

At the same time I am waiting for the light bulb to go off in Bauer's head that maybe the coaching that turned two guys who were almost DFA'd into a Cy Young winner and an all star caliber pitcher is worth listening to. As long as he is still doing his dumbass long tosses and keeping a journal log of when the optimal time to fart is on the mound he is way too into his own head and can't be helped. If Bauer buys into one of the best pitching coaching staffs in the majors he could be amazing.
