As eager as the Indians must be to cripple their financial flexibility and jump back into a long, expensive veteran deal....I think there are other avenues to pursue.

Impressive how folks have managed to turn a postive (good late season run, driven by vastly improved defense) into a negative (the 'win when it doesn't matter' and they 'lose when it matters'). You stay classy, Mr. Crawford.

I'm guessing he would argue it ceases being a positive when you make a habit of starting off horrible and then playing well when out of the race. But I think personnel changes have made a significant change in how they've played in the second half.

Which makes no sense, since the team's surge had obvious factors that weren't there during that rough start (addition of Lindor, Urshela, Tomlin; return of Gomes and his much missed power; Abe Almonte making the most of his chance; Chisenhall returning hot and a surprise defensive plus in the OF; restructuring of the pen).

Again, I see no reason to cast the sins of the father onto the son unless he really just wants a reason to bitch and moan. Judging by his prior tweets- including his complete ignorance of why Corey Kluber, who is working out a hamstring injury and only pitched because of the implications and he is a boss, just might have fallen off so quickly in that game. Sounds like the typical whining and I guess if that gives him pleasure he should keep it up.

Broken record, B.

The only positive is next year and beyond. Frankie will also win RoY.

Jay Crawford is a known Cleveland sports fan. Why anyone here is giving him shit is beyond me.

Kipnis with a lead-off HR!

Lindor is going to be great.
