How do you guys cope with actual tragedy?

There's a difference. I don't need an analyst to tell me what to think. I saw this team for what it was before all that which is why I don't think what we are seeing is a mirage. We have a great front end rotation with an abomination of an offense. Hasn't changed much since the last few years. Except now the White Sox won't let us get to our wild card game anymore. Yeah, that playoff berth two years ago involved going 17-2 against the White Sox. 19% of our wins against the 3rd worst team in the league. I know everyone will say who cares about 2 years ago, but my point is that was a mirage playoff berth and now that our division is considerably better that same blueprint won't work. The roster the way it is structured is not a wild card team IMO. That opinion has not changed in the last 3 weeks.

Maybe they won't get there, maybe some so emotionally distraught over being 4 under .500 in April are getting slightly ahead of themselves.

I'm simply wondering how they let their emotions run so wild when every season is a lesson in not freaking out early.

It's like some just started paying attention to the league this season.
