SCORE PREDICTION: Ohio State 42 Oklahoma 35

I don't like it at all. Barrett holds the ball too long. Weber needs another year in the weight room to be able to break arm tackles. The line was manhandled by Tulsa for the majority of the game last week. And both BG and Tulsa had some success running between the tackles until the score got away from them, which I'm guessing won't be an issue for OU. Could be ugly.

Overreaction.

I'll go on the record as saying I have zero idea how this game will play out.

Multiple Oklahoma coaches and players were quoted today talking about how similar they feel OSU's offense is to Houston's. They feel they were able to finally get a decent rhythm defensively in the second half against Houston which they can carry over to Saturday night.

While I agree our grouping packages are similar (TE's, formations, motion) Houston currently throws the ball way more efficiently than OSU while OSU has been significantly better in the run game. I just get uneasy when then taking into account where and when most of our rushing yards have occurred and the opponents we have faced. Our run game against Tulsa was surprisingly mediocre and while it was solid against BG, I get the feeling a lot of teams will be pounding them between the tackles. On top of the run game, it just doesn't feel like the passing game is in rhythm at all (and I understand the inclement weather played a role last weekend).

I have real concern about Saturday night. I'm also a bit cautious when it comes to my Bucks, but I think this game is going to be very tight.

I do appreciate Pat Elfleins confidence this week though.....he said we will run the ball well against Oklahoma. I'd love to see that happen.

OSU shuts down Perine and Mixon, they win the game...simple as that.

Ahhh the unceasing pessimism in the face of nothing but success. I imagined you were gone forever once the Cavs won a title. Good to see you back and better than ever.

Anyone have the hookup on replays?

Urban Meyer has yet to lose a true road game at OSU. He has 2 neutral sight loses vs MSU and Clemson.

OU is good when they are supposed to be mediocre, and mediocre when they are supposed to be good.

Without looking at the matchups, I really like OSU. This is the type of game Urban has made his career out of, and the type of game Stoops has been losing for a long time.

If this doesn't light a fire under our defense to just beat the living shit out of them, I have no idea what will.

I've already locked my bet in. Young, inexperienced team be damned... I've got nothing but confidence in our Buckeyes in this one.
