Yep, good thing there were circumstances.

Got into a back and forth with a Cubs fan on Twitter who said the Cubs are making the Indians look better than they actually are. An average team with an excellent manager. My response was average teams don't win 94 games, go 7-1 to earn a berth to the WS, and throw 5 shutouts against 3 of the best offenses in baseball 2 of which were against God's team all while missing 2 starters. His only response was that if Cubs hitters were patient they'd be looking at the sweep tonite.

Panic and excuses are starting to bubble up a bit

The real question should have been why was Hirshbeck not only given a job in the series, but why is he allowed to be the fucking Crew Chief?!

Last night was insane. I didn't expect that. Hendricks is so good and it was just the moment. First WS game in 70ish years? Serious nads from the Indians last night going in and doing that.

Can anyone explain this?? I used to think MLB Umps were the least crooked and this pice of shit is changing my mind. Oh well fuck him we WON!

This video was actually Al Leiter on MLBN. They pretty much trashed them as much as they could being a league network. He was a little careful, obviously, but he continued on after the video ended. You could tell he was a frustrated with what he saw.

I HATE complaining about umps. And I hate the K zone for what it does to people. Ump determines the zone, but last night was utter horseshit.

Dude has a very old concept of a city. By that logic, OAKLAND is irrelevant, because it has a population of 419,267 - even though it sits in a combined statistical area of 8.7 million. The metro area is the thing, and Cleveland-Akron-Canton is of fair size.
