Last time I made a game thread, we went to our first World Series since 1997. This time...?

GO TRIBE!!

Hopefully Bauer has command of his off-speed pitches tonight and is able to generate some swings and misses. The Cubs had a ton of contact and didn't strike out much when they faced him on Wednesday. He needs to trust Perez and stick to the gameplan.

As many others have already said, if he can go five innings without giving up more than a run and can limit his mistakes, the Tribe is in a great position. Hopefully the offense continues to progress like it has been the past couple of games. (I know they only scored one run on Friday night, but they were really making Hendricks work and putting up a lot of good ABs.)

Should be a fun one. Here's hoping we can start making parade plans tonight!

Even though it's on my bucket list to attend an Indians World Series game, I pray I don't have to attend game 6. End this Tonight!!!!!

All right, all right! Let's win this game with our bats and our feet!

Rajai, run fast but also smart.
Kipnis, make your family proud.
Lindor, change nothing.
Napoli, please provide a party.
'Los, may the angels be in the outfield with you.
Jose, hit as hot as your hair.
Guyer, HBP RBI FTW.
Perez, make Lucroy look even more like a bitch.
Bauer, please don't be a jackass.
Tito, continue being a god.

ROLL TRIBE!!!!!!!! LET'S WIN THIS THING!!!

Bauer could throw 7 shutout innings or give up 7 runs in the first and neither would surprise me. Big game for his public perception after shaky outings and curious decision making in the postseason.

The weather on the East Coast is dark and stormy, like when The Christ was crucified, and the curtain in the temple was rent asunder.

I have a bad feeling about this game.

It's weird. No clouds currently on the radar and no rain in the forecast for the first half of the week here in Northeast Ohio. And yet the sky is getting dark as $#!+.

We don't deserve this man. :chuckle:
I was actually wondering last night how players/coaches sleep after championship series games, especially at the pressure times. Right after the game, the adrenaline still has to take awhile to wear off for the players regardless, but also knowing that the next day you are one game away from winning or being eliminated from the World Series?

Even my adrenaline was keeping me up last night and I'm not even half as attached. Before the Finals game 7, I really couldn't sleep at all though and my whole body was hurting/numb all day from being so nervous (which I thought would quit once the game started, but only intensified until the final buzzer).
