I dunno bro; homeboy had a triple double on amazing efficiency.. 20/14/12? I'll take that every day of the week, against any team in the league..

If the Big 3 play like this, NOBODY in the league can beat us in 7 games.

BTW, the Spurs are embarrassing the Warriors right now purely through their defense.. Very interesting...

And through Kawhi looking like a genuine MVP candidate. Last I looked he had 35 pts on 20 shots.

Felt like watching LeBron back in the day. He'd have 25 points and you'd be sitting there like...when did that happen?
9/11 on two point fg..

0/3 on threes

Looked fast as shit.

Good amount of cherry picking points

Started off a bit rusty but SWEET MOTHER OF BABY JESUS, the motherfucker activated God Mode in the 3rd quarter and was unguardable. A glimpse of what an absolute stud he can be. He can not only be one of the best players in the league but as LeBron said, he is an MVP caliber player.

Did anyone else throw up when the TNT announcer said that Kyrie just went "all Steph Curry on the Knicks?" (end of the 3rd Qrt)

Seriously? That pissed me off.

If you wanted to make a greatness reference, there still are better players in the game today to use as the example. Or, use a much better player from the past...like Kobe, or Jordan.

Curry's and Kyrie's style of explosion in stretches are so different, that it really made me question everything that the announcer said. Regardless of style, the comment was just dumb, and alluded to as if Kyrie is some sort of up-and-comer, and Curry is the greatest player in the NBA already. lol

Could be intentionally inflammatory.

Get people to debate the two, push that narrative

I thought Kyrie really played within the flow last night and it is abundantly clear the coaching staff and his teammates have given him the ultimate green light.

There was no hesitation right from the start. When he got a defender on an island or saw an opening, he was immediately attacking. The most promising aspect was that those plays -- which are inherently improvisational to an extent -- were being anticipated by the team in a way they weren't last regular season.

If his shot was falling at an average rate in the first half (I will blame championship ceremony jitters), he would have been between 35-40 through three quarters instead of 29. And it looked completely effortless and within the flow.

All great news. I will also point out the 0 turnovers which shows just how under control Kyrie was.

They're really gonna miss Bogut.

And not just for the 9 ppg they'll lose from his not-called illegal screens...

That seems low. It always felt like the majority of their offensive sets when Bogut was on the floor either directly or indirectly came from a Bogut illegal screen. Zaza doesn't have those chops.
