I don't understand what happened to Kyrie on offense but I'm confident he will recover from that. He's just too skilled. He's an elite isolation scorer, can shoot from anywhere, has incredible touch for layups with both hands, and the best handles in league history.

But I just can't get over how bad he has been on defense this season. Right now he's the worst defensive player on a bad defensive team. Even in the first half when the Cavs generally looked good on defense, old man Rondo blew by Kyrie over and over again. And not just Rondo - Jerian Grant was blowing by him too. And Butler too, but at least that's to be expected.

His defense puts the whole team's defense on the back foot on far too many possessions. And he's been just as bad off the ball as he is on the ball too. I'm not sure what scheme can even cover up for it. He's clearly not the only thing wrong with the defense. But he's a huge part of it.

Team has been trash since he started the flat Earth bullshit... just saying.

Let's talk about the things Kyrie himself admitted he needs to do better. Taking a challenge defensively? NOPE. Getting Love into any sort of rhythm? NOPE. Getting JR into any sort of rhythm? NOPE.

What the hell has happened to him lately? He's clearly mentally shredded out there at this point. He got a moronic technical after committing a stupid foul. What in the world?

"I have to do my best as a point guard to integrate J.R. and K-Love and get our starting five back to having the continuity. It hasn't been perfect, to say the least," Irving said.

That's thing though; he hasn't. He had one bad game and all of a sudden he's a fucking headcase. I just don't understand what is going on in his mind (cue flat world joke).

he had a strong stretch individually, but the team has gone 7-11 in the last 18.

I think that was his point...

About the same as your defense.
I'm the opposite of kyrie.

Invaluable on defense but you could give me a ladder and clear the court and i couldnt score.

That's my point. That didn't happen last night.
