2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Would anyone offer one of the Browns first rounders next year for Bosa?
Given that such a trade would be impossible until the day of the 2017 Draft, this question really can't be answered until we know where the picks are.

EDIT: THIS TWEET GOT DELETED BUT IT SHOWS THE 2017 CURRENT BROWNS DRAFT PICKS. WILL TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE I CAN POST

EDIT 2: No idea who this dude is, but this is correct:

Offset language and differments that every other team in the league doesn't seem to have a problem with.

The Chargers have been notorious for this in recent history.
Can u dive into this or tell me where to read it?

Over the Cap is projecting us to receive three 4ths and a 5th for compensatory picks, iirc. Didn't we also trade our 4th rounder to Philly?

EDIT: yup, three 4ths.

They tend to nail their compensatory pick projections.

From what I've read, the Chargers are basically offering Bosa deal terms on par with a mid-to-late first rounder, and all he wants is terms on par with where he was selected at third overall. The Chargers cite that he wants terms that they have never given to any pick since 2011, but that's disingenuous because they haven't picked anywhere near third overall in that time frame. I see no reason why a team would risk destroying their relationship with a player when all he wants is the same concessions that any other team would give to a top five pick. It just seems very shortsighted by them.

The press release they put out was pretty obviously damage control to try to shift the blame to Bosa by painting him as greedy, even though all he wants is what he would have gotten from another team had they had the third pick instead.

Well, Bosa signed. Wonder what the terms look like...

We no longer have to hear about him not playing this year. It was never going to happen. We won.

Took a quick look at the terms and it appears the Chargers did compromise on their initial demands.

Bound to happen once fans started reading about the situation and realized the Chargers were the ones at fault despite their press release attempting to play the victim.

Read this morning that a co-agent took over the negotiations, which helped push this over the finish-line. Got to wonder if the negotiations got so rotten that the Chargers decided to not cave to that agent at all for reasons not related to the terms of the contract..

This tight end from Minnesota is interesting, George Wozniak.

6'10, 255 with good hands and athletic ability for the size.

Teams can't possibly have an answer for that matchup in space.

For 2018, Sex Legend Josh Rosen did not look so great at A&M. 3 INTs. Ouch.
