This smells like a 24-10 or 31-10 OU win tonight. They won't keep turning it over and missing FGs. The defense can't stop them any other way. And the offense, as usual, is overmatched with J.T. Barrett running the show. The receivers are terrible at adjusting to the deep ball, and Prince is just as bad as he was last year, but there is no intermediate passing game either. If you can't hit the 12-20 yard routes at all, you have no chance to beat a good team. And Barrett just will not throw them. Ever.

I, for one, have been impressed with the schemes that Kevin Wilson has come up with. This summer we were promised that he was going to change things up to take full advantage of JT Barrett's strengths, and I'd say he has definitely delivered. JT Barrett's greatest strength has to be his absolute suckitude, and I didn't think it was possible to get better at that. Wilson has proved me wrong. Barrett looks the shittiest I have ever seen him.

Shout out to Zach Smith and his top-notch receiving core as well. I thought the job of a receiver was to get open and make things easier for his QB. Smith has shown us that it's more important for a WR to run around and look busy, make a half-hearted effort to get open, and then give up and run directly into the guy covering you.
