He also drew a ton of fouls in college. I’m not sure it’s realistic to expect him to draw them at this level. He was also a poor finisher in college.
I’ll agree with you though and do think we should give him the ball and see what he can do. I’m just not very hopeful.
I like Sexton overall .I think he has the tools to eventually be a winning player in this league. Whether he will ever be able to develop into an all-star individually, well who knows. Certainly has a long way to go, and is certainly extremely raw offensively compared to a guy like Young for sure. But I think over time his athleticism, speed, motor, and work ethic will win out and make him a positive, two-way player. But that's why I want him to get the reps, because he will never get to where he needs to go without them.
