Sexton is a much better passer than people on her gave him credit for after his first 4 games. He has a long way to go obviously but he’s not just a black hole out there, he does look to get his teammates involved.

He’s a scorer first and a facilitator second, sure, but people were in here saying he had “no vision”...just not true. It’s somewhat raw like all of his game is but he’s a far cry from Clarkson-levels of selfish

It's not just his first four games. It's his college career too. Assist rate was not high there either.

It's not just his first four games. It's his college career too. Assist rate was not high there either.

Okay, assists are reliant on other people though. His college supporting cast was literally one of the worst groups of kids I’ve ever seen at that level of competition. He was not a completely selfish player in college if you actually go back and watch the tape. Same thing in Summer League, he showed flashes of being a very passable playmaker in spurts when given the keys to the car.

He finally got to pass it to a guy who could make some shots and he has 5 in 24 minutes.

Like I said, I’ll never mistake him for a true point guard and he is a scorer first, but his vision is a lot better than people have given him credit for, is all I’m saying.
