True, Toronto will be tough. Mostly I'm happy about what this means for Boston. They were all ready to take over the East once LeBron left but now they've got 3-4 teams they have to worry about and one of those teams just added a top 15 player in the league. Not as proven as Toronto. I need to see more discipline from Simmons and Embiid to say that, but I think Boston is groaning. They thought they would be so good, but they have more than just LeBron to worry about this year.
It is definitely going to shift the balance of power and anyone in the top 5 are gonna be tough in the playoffs
So they refused 4 first round picks but accepted Saric and Covington, the type of players that can be drafted using those first round picks. There's gotta be more to that deal.

4 Picks in the 20-30 range. Saric has good upside and a lot of talent, Covington is a tough hard nosed defender and a solid catch and shoot guy. They likely didn't wanna tank with a 22 year old KAT locked up next 5 years. Saric and Covington both have untapped potential and can help them now and in the future. Clearly they think they can win and both of those guys will help them for the next few years where as the picks from the rockets might not convey for 7 years.
I think that’s a better haul than what SA got for Leonard, imo
Yeah, i dont think this leapfrogs them over Toronto or Boston at all. Saric and Covington play a ton of minutes for them and are nice players.
