2018-2019 Tank Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Zion is preordained to go the Knicks.

I'm debating that though.

Only due to the "Max Contract" discussion Kyrie and Durant had recently. The only reason I'm going "conspiracy theory" is we've seen how the NBA operates generally with this.

No, we haven't seen that at all. There is not one shred of evidence that any NBA Lottery was fixed. The idea that the NBA was able to fix 14 ping pong balls in front of a roomful of witnesses from every team and backed up by EY three times in four years for the Cavaliers fails the LOL test.

That’s a great loss tonight. Phoenix wins!
No Doncic...No problem.

Colin looked good, and we lost. Nice result. Thought the Mavs might screw us trying to get Dirk past Wilt.

Post was "Zion or Bust."

We have only a 14% chance at Zion and 13.4% chance of second pick. "Got to get first or second pick" is considerably against the odds.

Doesn’t change that they really need the first or second pick

Well, except the inaugural lottery.

But ping pong ball era, yeah.

If the lottery was ever going to be rigged, you would think Stern would’ve done it for MJ and the Bobcats/Hornets. All of the conspiracy ingredients existed there from small market to legacy for the 7 win Bobcats but they missed out on AD.

I believe with enough time and resources, anything can be fixed.
You’re foolish to believe otherwise.

The good thing is the Cavs and San Gilbert are a good antigonist nationally for a smaller market, so the NBA will feed that story.

Believe whatever you want to believe but it will be fun to see the sort of mental gymnastics people will participate in to confirm it was rigged regardless of the lottery winner (Big market, small market, new arena, replacing star, etc..). Rigging a lottery for one billionaire requires the other 29 billionaires to be okay with it and that’s a hard sell I would imagine.

Even if they wrap the ping pong balls in tinfoil?

Instead of the typical way of revealing the lottery results, they should have Russian Matryoshka dolls with the faces of famous players from each team. Just a thought...

We would end up with the Mueller investigation getting involved.

Bulls at Phoenix tonight, do we want to put more distance between us and Chicago or do we want to drop into the second slot in the
lottery sweepstakes?
