I never thought Milwaukee could pull off a deal for Yelich, but they did. We need something like that if a very good player becomes available. Signing dudes like Yonder Alonso isn't going to cut with this state of the AL. Indians need some kind of gamechanger. As long as Lindor is here we should win the Central, but he's going to need help to win another pennant.Sorry, want to believe. But I dont. There are three mega teams with infinite resources we will need to contend with in the AL. Window is only really open a couple more years.
Just dont see how we get on their level.
Especially considering our key players are known playoff underperformers. Difficult to think this team can win a World Series. The “you just have to get in” mantra isn’t encouraging anymore with 100-win juggernauts lurking the AL depths.
