2018 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hopefully some eyes were opened today....

HEY EVERYONE.

Ohio State was infinity more qualified than Oklahoma

Either team was gonna get housed by 'Bama. It wouldn't have mattered.

Because they found some bullshit loophole to get scholarships in a manner that would make for profit colleges go "Damn son, that's unethical"

It sucks moose cocks.

College Football is fucking broken.

Shame on the committee for getting fooled by ND and the Big 12 again.

Refs just looked for an excuse to call a PF on OU after that TD....

IM FUCKING DRUNK!!!!

hey baker, fuck things up tomorrow

This feels almost like "by design" for ESPN.

They're losing their grip on the Big XII, Big 10 and PAC 12 with those conferences aligning with Fox Sports/FS1.

ESPN has fairly strong deals with the SEC and ACC in place (their own networks).

They have the rights to the CFP until the mid-2020s, correct?

Feels like game. set. match. for the forseeable future until things change.

Not sure what you’re trying to say. It’s pretty clear Clemson and Alabama are the two best teams and have been for essentially the past four years. I don’t think OSU stood a chance against either of these teams. It’s up to everyone else to catch up to Dabo and Saban.

Easy to say when they both played undeserving and underwhelming opponents in their semifinal games.

Bama has these officials under contract.

Helmet to helmet hit to the QB that knocks the QBs helmet off.... No foul

Nick Saban has ruin college football. Every year he's going to win till he hangs it up.

Oklahoma's defense is such trash: their offense would have given them a chance but when your defense is the 96th in the country going against the #2 offense the math just doesn't work

Georgia probably had a case, but the Big10 was all smoke and mirrors this year. No one beat a good team OOC. Michigan was a mirage. PSU didn’t beat anyone good. OSU got waxed by Purdue. Honestly, if OSU lost by 7 to Purdue they’re probably playing tonight.

Ultimately I think the only solution is to cut down the season and dramatically expand the playoffs. We’re never going to have any real idea how teams compare because most schools won’t schedule difficult opponents OOC.

Is the NCAA talking seriously at all about expanding the playoffs? These results are just further proof of the insane flaws in only having a 4 team field.

Nuts to think that Cleveland had both the best coach in college football and the best coach in NFL on the same team at the same time for 4 years. We were their football starter wives.
