2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So I guess we won’t see any angry Browns fans this week mentioning how we could have had Wentz.

This next part is so important. We can't fuck the coaching gig up. Most important hire in this franchise' history IMO.

We've never had the pieces in place like we do now. So don't fuck it up Brownies.
I feel confident Dorsey will nail it.

He could improve but he’s missed a few open guys; not with throws; he doesn’t seem to see them in a timely manner.

I just don't like inaccurate QBs. He wasn't very accurate in college and that doesn't translate great into the NFL.

It's the one thing you can't teach. At all. Even arm strength to a degree can be improved on.

Rosen will never be a very accurate QB. And if he's a turnover machine he'll end up as a backup.

Don't forget who our owner is. I don't care what Haslam says. Still wouldn't rule him out overriding Dorsey anyways. Then Dorsey gets pissed and resigns and we're looking at another fucked up situation.

I'm not trying to get negative about this. But until Haslam proves he can stop fucking up and will really get out of the way.

I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt yet.

The Browns knew what they were doing all along!

Understood. But I feel the tide is turning.

It was Dorsey who made the compelling argument to the Haslams that ultimately led to Hue’s (and Haley‘s) firing. Jimmy has seen first-hand that JDs draft is looking like a homerun. He is pleased that the front office (Wolf, Highsmith etc.) is viewed with respect around the league (Haslam actually cares what other football people think).

The big thing for me is the organizational chart. The new coach has to report to the GM. Otherwise my belief that Jimmy is “learning” would be for naught.

On the final 4th down stop for Baltimore, there was a blatant no call in Baltimore's favor. It was clear PI/holding, but of course the Ravens weren't flagged.

If the uniforms were reversed, 100% guarantee there's a flag.

The Chiefs are an undisciplined mess right now. Already up to seven accepted penalties less than 10 minutes into the first quarter.

Our defense is not good. They got to fix that in the off-season if we want to be a serious contender.

Not sure you really need much of a defense anymore though. Rams defense is garbage too.

It's turning into purely an offensive league.

Although right now, I think the Saints are clearly the best team in the league by a wide margin.

If they don't make it to the SB I can see the Chiefs winning it all.

If I see the Chiefs score again on this drive, I'll know it's a legit shootout.

But I mainly just watch the Chiefs so I admit I'm not aware of how everyone else is doing.

But yeah, it's all about how we perform in the playoffs considering that is where the Chiefs always seem to falter. We won the wildcard game in 2015 which is our only playoff win since 1993. So a couple playoff wins I would consider extreme progress.

Mahomes is going to break Peyton's record.

You've guys never had a QB like this. Believe me, you'll cruise to the SB. The Patriots suck and Brady is washed up. I wouldn't take anything out of them losing to the Pats earlier.

Pats can't win a game out of Foxborough, and you guys won't have to face them there.

There's no one even close to being a threat to KC in the AFC.
