2018 NFL SEASON Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Odds are low. But if Nick gets them to another SB. then what? You still turn it back over to Wentz and boot him?

That's a tough sell to me.

I think they kinda overwhelmed Carson this year, they forgot just how young he is and they threw the entire book at him. With a little more time under his belt I think you stay with him. The talent gap is just too wide.

Any reason why the Browns are interviewing Eberflus but not Fangio? Fangio's scheme is really good and he developed young players. Obviously Khalil Mack helped, but it's not like we have no good young defenders.

I'm still supporting the Chargers next week. Rivers is a better QB than either draft class HOFers Big Ben or Eli, but he never got the proper respect because his teams were average. This is as good a chance as he ever had at going to the Super Bowl - Patriots are running on fumes.

The Eagles vs. Bears game is going to be colder than Sergei Karasev's titties. That is the equalizer in this one.

They are man, but Brady is still virtually unbeatable in that building. I'm rooting for them.

Until I see someone knock Brady out in that building, especially with two weeks of rest. Enough time for him to suddenly develop somewhat of an arm.

This is going to be a tough one for the Chargers. If they win that game though they can beat anyone.

I don't care how regressed the Pats are. They are hell in the building.

Eberflus is a local guy, from Toledo and played at the University of Toledo. He made the move from college to the pros because Mangini offered him a job with the Browns. So far the majority of Browns HC candidates have a local tie. One interesting aspect is that he worked under Rob Ryan in a blitzing 3-4 scheme for multiple years despite being a 4-3 Cover 2 disciple before and afterwards. I'd imagine he would be pretty hands off on offense and let Freddie be Freddie.

I'll never get why teams do this against good defenses. After gashing them for a big run. They go back to it. Like they think it'll work again. It doesn't. Good defenses clean it up on the fly.

That's when you should go play action and take your shot.

Got to fight for the ball. Wasn't that bad of a throw. A great play by the Bears. But fight for the ball there.

Man I can't wait to be back in the playoffs. The excitement of having your team in it must be unreal. Its been so long I can't remember the feeling.

Coming soon though!

Pretty poor showing by the Bears. Really is. This game is exactly why you can't take them serious. They got a great defense, but, 3 points isn't going to get you through LA and NO.

I know they beat down the Rams pretty bad. But that was in Chicago in cold weather. Going into LA might a bit different.

If Trubisky can't play better than this, they have no shot.

The utmost incompetence on the part of the officials, per usual

Isn’t that supposed to be a catch and Chicago ball at the spot of the fumble since there was no recovery?

One thing I know is that isn’t an incomplete pass....

All these playoff games show me that QB play matters a lot. Even the Cowboys game.

Seattle basically lost because they treated their pro bowl QB like he's a rookie. You should win or lose on him, not because you didn't utilize him enough.

Bears should be running away with this game, but Trubisky's awful first half has given the Eagles a chance.

QB play matters a lot.

Dude, I think we should just go all defense and maybe 1 WR and Tackle in draft. Baker can distribute like Steve Nash out there, I don't think highly paid WRs will matter with a great QB and his pin point accuracy.

The better defense we can put together, the better chance we have at winning with Baker at the helm.

Nicky can throw a great deep ball. I'm nervous as fuck if I'm a Bears fan. Nicky is getting hot and Trubisky fucking blows.
