I guess i was just going by what their lineup accomplished last year with the only major addition being Cruz. Marwin, but hes been pretty bad. Buxton is back and has been playing fairly well. They will get some injuries to. Maybe this will make our regular season a little more spicey. A dogfight with the Twins.
Jonathan Schoop at 2B, who had a down 2018 but was a 5 win player in 2017. Despite being mostly bad last season, he ranked 8th among 2B in HR with 21. Certainly capable of hitting 25 HR this season
Last year the Twins 1B/DH duo of Mauer and Logan Morrison combined for 21 HR. As you mentioned already, Nelson Cruz was their big signing and has eclipsed 21 HR every year since 2009 and 37+ the past 5 seasons. Combine him with CJ Cron, who hit 30 last year. He isn't off to the best start, but he should give them 20 or so HR. I think the two of them combine for about 50 HR.
Kepler looks like he has taken a step, Rosario leads the AL in HR, Polanco has been great, Buxton is healthy, their catchers are flashing power, and Marwin has sucked ass so far.
