I think there is bound to be at least two better safeties left at 49 ahead of Abram. Out of Adderley, Gardner Johnson and Deionte Thompson I think one of them is gonna slip, and you have Juan Thornhill as well who testes out like an absolute monster at the Combine.

No, you have to consider potential second guessing when we see who drops to 17. That could be a hoot. I mean, suppose that Schicklgruber -- or whatever his name is -- tight end from Iowa drops. You'll have looudmouthed sports bar guy talking about how great a receiver and blocker Schicklgruber is, and how we could have kept him and Peppers, etc....

Don't sleep on Washington's Taylor Rapp. That guy is a pure strong safety, great footwork, and really lowers the boom.

Generally just a ton of really good safety talent in the draft this year.

Honestly I love Hockenson as a prospect, there will be good players there at 17, very good players, but you cant 2nd guess these type of trades. Personally I am a bit on the fence about it because of how much we invested in our receivers but a huge secret that isn't mentioned enough is that NY had to pay 20 million of his salary and taking a huge cap hit off our hands for ODB, to us its a 5 year 75 million dollar contract instead of 95 million. The cap room is huge, I know he wants a restructure, but i am not sure how huge that will be since he has already made 20 mill of the contract and he is still the 2nd highest paid receiver when factoring that 20 mill which I know his agent will say it doesn't matter to the Browns, but that is why we had to pay so much, he is on a team friendly contract, at least to the Browns as he is 14 mill a year, which is almost what receivers like Tyrell Williams are getting.

What do you guys think of Malik Gant from Marshall for SS? He could be had for 1 of the 5th.

Will be a gem of this class imo. Instinct, fast, bring the lumber and can make to locate the ball carrier in traffic.

Another gem guy to look at is Jimmy Moreland

If a player Dorsey covets starts to slip look for a trade up. Maybe up to 35-40.

If CGJ drops into the second round I think it's pretty close to a no brainer. Guy is incredible.
