2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fully confident Metcalf will be the best WR in this draft.

Potential is just too high. Being that big and that fast is just not something you find anywhere.

Just wait until he gets drafted by a team with a QB who can't throw downfield.

He seems like a sober Josh Gordon type who will run about three routes, but will be nearly impossible to stop on those three routes. I don't know if that will make him the best... but he will be productive.

His route tree has to improve at the next level.

I don’t see any reason why he won’t be able to do that at the next level if he puts the work in. He’s such a freak that it’s really up to him how good he is going to be. He could be Julio Jones/AJ Green good if he puts in the time and focus.

He will never sniff Julio Jones or AJ Green.

His lack of lateral mobility is going to really limit his ability to run routes. Jones and Green don't have that issue.

That said, guys like Randy Moss and Josh Gordon have shown us that, if you're fast enough, you really don't need to run a complex route tree.

Josh Gordon is my only comp for him. Use him the same way Josh and Megatron were used. Slants, posts, go's

He’s likely to be in the same stadium and walk up to either of them. The chances of him smelling both of them is actually pretty good.

His statistical production and athletic profile is nowhere near either of those guys.

We've seen this dude before. He's basically Jon Baldwin coming out of Pitt. The fact that Ole Miss preferred to go to AJ Brown over DK tells me a lot. The fact that DK tested poorly in lateral agility tells me a lot.

He could be an incredible deep threat. I wouldn't expect much in the short to intermediate game, though. And despite all their other talents, Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss were both very good in their agility. Julio Jones had freakish agility, and AJ Green had great agility for his size.

DK simply doesn't have those gifts.

A.J. Green and Julio Jones were just so much more natural football players

Calvin Johnson? Lol.

Love seeing people dealing in absolutes.

Baker would never sniff Russell Wilson level either remember?

I remember you saying he was “literally Russell Wilson” and people making fun of you.

But no, I don’t remember anyone saying he’d never sniff Russell Wilson.

Poor @King Stannis got a misdemeanor in 2015 for trying to sniff Russell Wilson.

True story.

Even if you did, the difference with DK (As you have pointed out) his agility numbers are so bad it will limit him, and WR is a position where athletics matter. Personally I would be terrified to draft him.
