Wow, that’s a very damning thing to say. I assume you must have some firsthand evidence to make such a claim?
Reddish is a very talented kid, who possesses ideal size, skill, & athleticism for an NBA wing. He can do much more than he was allowed to show at Duke.
Griffin got unprotected picks/pick swaps all the way out to 2025. LeBron will be 40 years old.
I think it's a pretty good haul.
Interesting given the first hand look Beilenin got and how well Culver played against Michigan in the tournament that he would favor Hunter. The Athletic, via Hoopshype, is reporting that John Beilein loves De’Andre Hunter. The article says it’s unclear how much say Beilein will have in who the Cavs pick. It also says the Cavs could receive a lot of trade interest in the 5th pick, if Darius Garland is still available.
It's smokescreens. I'm sure he likes him, but he is not the Cavs target unless they are delusional enough to think he has a lot of upside at 21 almost 22 . Culver,Hunter and Garland all had workouts for the Cavs that got leaked probably by the Cavs, I wonder why that is________?Interesting given the first hand look Beilenin got and how well Culver played against Michigan in the tournament that he would favor Hunter.
A lot of this could be smokescreens at this point but the thing that really bothers me about Hunter is his inability to break his man down off the dribble.
You can't be even a borderline all star is you can't take your man 1 on 1 and blow by him. Love his defense and his ability to shoot seems more than fine.

Especially since AD has a bit of "Drummondities" in that he doesn't play as good as defense as people think besides being injury prone. Its like the Lakers are saying "Lets go for it the next 2 years" and then who gives a shit lol......With a 35-36 year old Lebron the next 2 seasons..........I look at the haul as very boom or bust. No real solid building block that you would want from getting rid of an all-star the level of AD. The #4 pick in this draft is a crapshoot, which is why I always thought if the Knicks wanted in, that their #3 pick was seen as that much more valuable.
Lonzo has his crazy dad attached to him and Ingram has the blood clot issue. It could all work out for Griff or it would be a bunch of non impact players. AD is young enough that he could recruit a new group once LeBron ages out.
That being said Pelinka was dumb to give up pick swaps and unprotected picks. They still don't know who their 3rd star will be. They don't have assets to trade for anyone, even a role player, at this point. AD gets hurt or gets sick of LeBron yelling at him and he could walk Dwight Howard style.
It's almost better for both side if the Lakers had a very good asset like the #3 pick or a player like Tatum to give to the Pelicans and they could be both not be tied to this trade moving forward.

Reddish grabbed an embarrassingly low 5.6 rpg in high school, and a pathetic 3.7 rpg at Duke. I don't think it is possible for a player his size with a reasonable level of "drive" to do that. So either he's secretly the size of Isaiah Thomas, or he has all the drive of a 1986 Yugo.
No one says Reddish is a finished product. Paul George was ahead of him in some facets at the same point in his college career. But you never know when a man is going to mature, grow, a young man's mind is still developing until his mid-20's. Who knows between now and then what Cam will develop into. Its the totality of potential he has that is alluring. He may end up Batum rather than George, but its that little bit of "what if" that excites us. Its the kind of player you need in today's NBA. At this stage of rebuilding, its a nice nice fit, with the right coach.Reddish grabbed an embarrassingly low 5.6 rpg in high school, and a pathetic 3.7 rpg at Duke. He played PG in High School. And in college played next to Zion one of the best rebounders and RJ Barrett one of the best rebounding wings. Also he averaged more rebounds per minute as a freshmen at Duke then the great (Note sarcasm) Rodney Hood did albeit not by much. In 29 minutes Reddish got 3.9 and Hood got 3.9 in 32 minutes as a RS Sophmore at Duke.
Lonzo Ball played PG in high school, and was smaller than Reddish. He averaged 11.3 rpg his senior year. And the rap on Hood is the exact same as Reddish -- he's a nice guy but lacks and assertive/aggressive personality.
But okay...who do you see as the NBA comparator for this guy as a small forward?
