For second time, Dorsey has seemed pretty adamant Stanton will be the backup--

On if he remains comfortable with QB Drew Stanton as backup QB as stated at the NFL Combine:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Browns only carry two QBs this year, and perhaps third will be a rookie on the practice squad..

I'd expect us to use a 4th-6th round pick on a developmental QB. We're in the exact situation where you draft a kid in that range and work him into being your cost-effective backup.

Right now it would be Kindred but we aren’t going to give up upgrading this roster, so my guess would be day two pick to compete with Kindred or a decent veteran in there to compete. Not sure who is all left out there at the moment who would actullay be an upgrade

Kindred played 35% of the snaps which is allot for a "backup" safety when the starter in front of him was not hurt. Kindred is a decent starting level safety, we now lack depth.

I would guess unless Eric Berry comes cheap on a prove it deal we sign a safety to be backup not starter. But just a guess, you never know with Dorsey.

Kindred looked pretty good a year ago when peppers was a rookie. Not a bad option.
