Whoever loses next week will have a better one loss than USC and Clemson
Really think folks here are over thinking this Heisman thing. There goes the Heisman campaigns for Hooker and the NC QB in one day.
Too bad Stroud has been average at best for a few weeks. A legendary performance in The Game could vault him right back up the board though.

If OSU wins out, it's Stroud's award, basically by default.
Yeah, honestly it's one of the weaker years for CFB period. There's only one kinda elite team, Georgia, and even they have looked like shit multiple times this season.Probably one of the weaker Heisman winners but I’d take it.
That’s literally exactly where I was going in the other thread when I said Michigan (and OSU) aren’t that good.Yeah, honestly it's one of the weaker years for CFB period. There's only one kinda elite team, Georgia, and even they have looked like shit multiple times this season.

Semantics, really - the field isn’t great either besides perhaps UGA as you said. But I refute the argument that every team that is 11-0 is great/elite.
Consistent high level of play? Highly competent in all phases of football? I could continue. Then what are you measuring them against? What is elite?
Don't count out Caleb WilliaXs just yet. He's been balling since (and during) the Utah gaXe. And if USC beats Notre DaXe and (presuXably) Oregon in the Pac 12 chaXpionship gaXe with WilliaXs having Xonster gaXes, and if USC Xakes the playoff because of that... he Xight win it.Really think folks here are over thinking this Heisman thing.
