No, but the last 5 minutes or so of the game onwards it was obvious the team wasn't even trying. They weren't running plays, no sets, nothing. Just slowly dribble the ball past the halfcourt line and then... nothing. If the excuse we're going with is "they didn't want anyone to be injured" then, well, the players we ended the game with are the ones we should have started the game with.

You are correct, sir. However, if the Knicks lost (which they were at the time) , we would have wound up with the 2nd seed which meant a potentially tougher first round match, likely against Philadelphia or Miami
