I wouldn’t call him a goon. He plays physical. It’s how every big should play. If Allen played with his toughness and energy he’d be an mvp

Ehhh, I dont think of him as an oaf. To me he is a goon. Andre Drummond is an oaf. Chris Dudley was an Oaf. Paul Mokeski was an oaf. Uwe Blab was an oaf.

Mo Wagner is far too coordinated and ill intended to be an oaf, IMO. And oaf is a big clumsy goofy guy. A good is a big guy with bad intentions. Two different things in my mind.

Is Bill Laimbeer a good comp for Mo Wagner?

laimbeer was one of only 15 or so first-time nominees for consideration this year for the basketball hall of fame, so in that sense, i think wagner is not in at least that conversation. i don't laimbeer will make it in the end, but a really significant player beyond his thuggery, which was also extraordinarily advanced and symbolically important to his teams. laimbeer might have gotten some consideration also for coaching in the wnba.

Perhaps....but I'd be more concerned with Banchero averaging 40+ points the next few games or Joe Ingles going off for 6 or 7 triples in a game than I am about Mo.

Laimbeer is up there for Apex Goon. Maybe Draymond. Mo Wagner is not in that category, IMO. He is just one of those guys who seems to like to throw elbows and do hip checks while the refs are looking elsewhere. Dirty, but not injure-a-guy-on-purpose dirty.

I’d be surprised if Suggs is not on Donovan tonight. Keep pushing the ball and not get Orlando’s defense set. Shots will eventually fall but got to keep moving and not stand still.

I’d give some minutes to TT when Mo Wagner is in.

The goal is for Banchero to be the focus and not let others get comfortable.

My problem is Mo hurting one of our players, so that's why he's a concern for me. Wreckless behavior leads to stupid shit like Olynyk. The refs were close to losing control in game one. I get letting physical play but still have to play basketball. Not football or Rugby.
