Absolutely depressing, disgusting and disjointed start to the season.

I’d guess one or both of Porter/Bates playe due to rotation shuffle with three starters and Jerome out

Then again, could just ride the vets with ugly extended minutes for Tristan, Jones, Niang

But essentially only LeVert, Okoro, Strus are available from our main guard rotation. And Strus/Okoro often take SF minutes as well so whether it’s Porter, Bates, or Merrill someone is going to have to play extended minutes tonight that normally doesn’t

It's an 82-game season. There will be games where our opponent has 2-3 starters out and playing on the second night of a BTB while we come in rested. Just hope it evens out in the end.

With three guards out it looks like LeVert, Strus, and Porter will man the two guard spots, Okoro and Bates at SF, Wade and Niang at PF, and Mobley and Jones at center.

Niang has scored 2 points in 41 minutes and is 0-for-8 on 3's. This would be a good game for him to find the range and knock down a few from deep. But the way the Pacers push the pace he won't be able to keep up and will give up more points than he scores, even if he starts making them.

Doesn't look good for a win tonight. I'm an incurable optimist. If we play great defense and one of our shooters get hot and LeVert plays great, we have a chance.

100-99 Cavs. I'll never predict them to lose.

Two things I can’t stand are coaches that refused to play players that aren’t 100% (JBB) and coaches that play players that aren’t 100% (Stefanski re: Watson).
