I agree. Can't get in the game though so it doesn't really matter.
At this point, everyone should be terrified of CPJ being a throw-in in a mid-season trade. It's absolutely on the table the way he's being coached right now.
JBB doesn’t make the trades. So his rotations aren’t indicative of any likelihood or non likelihood that CPJ could be tradedI agree.
The way he is played willy-nilly is indicative of JBB not actually valuing him.
In fact, I am trying to remember the last time a Cavs coach was so incredibly indifferent to players that are outside his starting five +1.
I think it is clear that CPJ will never fully develop in Cleveland as long as JBB is coach and the same can be said about several others.
Dude evidently doesn't have the bandwidth to develop some of these guys.
If I am Altman, I am considering the value of developmental prospects and whether it is worth the scouting and smart drafting when the coach is clearly not concerned with development and guys are completely superfluous to his game plan.

It's not hyperbole and he won't.JBB doesn’t make the trades. So his rotations aren’t indicative of any likelihood or non likelihood that CPJ could be traded
And saying he’ll “NEVER” properly develop as long as JBB is here 34 games into his rookie season is Hyoerbole City
Which incidentally is how I have RCF bookmarked
It's not hyperbole and he won't.
He is already clearly not being fully developed as a player, unless one counts a number of head-scratching DNPs as development.
We can revisit this periodically, but I guarantee that I will be proven correct in the end, and that when JBB finally does exit that his rotations will be high on the list of shortcomings that led to his departure.
But don't take my word for it. Once JBB is gone we'll become privy to the whole picture.
