Some very unusual stuff tonight.
Cavs go 17-for-17 from the foul line.
Cavs block 13 shots.
Cavs start the 3rd quarter on a 21-0 run (and yeah, maybe Simmons throwing Allen to the floor to start the quarter had something to do with it).
Nice win against a depleted team that isn't all that good to begin with. Great to see Niang hit three 3's (in 6 attempts). Hopefully he's pulling out of his 4-for-25 slump.
Mobley was tremendous with 14 points, 12 boards, and a team high +25. Garland was a +23 and showed signs that he's starting to get his groove back. Mitchell was Mitchell with a line of 27/5/4.
The Knicks and Bucks both got drilled at home; the Knicks by 14 against Dallas and the Bucks by 24 against Minnesota. Indiana also lost at home, by 22 to Golden State. The West has been absolutely killing the East lately, which is great for the Cavs.
On top of that OG Anunoby will miss three weeks after having a bone chip removed from his elbow. But the Pistons helped out the Knicks, trading Bogdanovic and Alec Burks for four spare parts and a couple of 2nd round picks. The Knicks will probably keep on rolling.
