Positions they filled with market rate or higher:
Dalvin Tomlinson at NT, Juan Thornhill at FS, Obo Okoronkwo at RDE.

Positions they filled far below market rate:
Hill and Hurst at backup 3 tech, Jordan Kunaszyk backup LB & core ST, Mike Ford at reserve nickelback & core ST, Jordan Akins at move TE, Dobbs at backup QB.

Since a move tight end and backup QB can be expensive, they are finding areas to save cap at the margins.
 
Happy Dobbs is back. If Mond really starts to show something, great. If not Dobbs can certainly fill that void.
 
Dobbs is a locker room guy too. Remember the reports about how jacked the Browns team was when Dobbs was slated to start for Titans?

I’m just thankful neither of them are QB sneak specialists so Kevin can’t outsmart himself anymore.

Dobbs isn't good but he's a good person who you want to succeed.

Mond isn't good but he's a young, athletically gifted player who you always hope pan's out even though you know he sucks.

Dobbs is more reliable under center today. I'll always hope Mond turns the corner until he inevitably falls out of the league.

From everything understood, Dobbs is a brilliant guy who can help in the QB room. He may not be Brissett-level loved, but a dude that brings intelligence to the QB room and respect to the lockerroom is a win for me.
 
Dobbs is a good locker room guy form all accounts. Terrible QB but that’s not why he has a job.

I still think they will spend a day three pick on another QB to mix in...

Dobbs though likely has the QB2 spot unless someone really steps up and takes it...
