2023 NFL Mock Draft Games

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Andre Carter would be a tremendous get for this defense. He has all the tools to be an absolute wrecking ball off the edge in Schwartz's wide 9 scheme. If he's at a big name school instead of Army, we're probably talking about him as a late first rounder a la Joe Tryon a couple years back.

Martin and Hickman solidify the secondary. Jartavius Martin might be the best slot corner in this draft--and he has the versatility to play safety as well. Hickman then gives us the athletic, rangey cover safety we currently lack.

Kobie Turner is an intriguing 3-tech who can help push out the Jordan Elliots and Tommy Togiais. Turner performed very well at Wake Forest and has impressed in the draft season (Shrine Bowl standout).

Zavala is a stud at guard who allows us to move on from Bitonio or Teller in the future--and also gives us a backup in case one of them gets dinged up. The offensive line is the most important part of the offense after the QB, and we're too thin to keep ignoring it.

Kuntz is a freak at tight end--with a 10.00 RAS score. He comes in and gets an opportunity to develop as the last tight end on the roster--and gives us a chance to push Harrison Bryant.

Ivan Pace is a sawed-off shotgun. Many draft picks I had him as the highest ranked linebacker on my board and kept passing him up because I just can't see him playing next to Wu as a Mike in this scheme. However, this late in the draft, I had to pull the trigger. Even if it's just replacing Takitaki at Sam, Pace is too good of a player to not take a look at. Whether it's blowing up the run game or blitzing the QB on passing downs, this short, squatty cannonball of a linebacker is a treat to watch.

Brodric Martin is a big-bodied 1-tech.

Desjuan Johnson is a flexible defensive lineman. Whether it's edge or DT, he can develop and add much needed depth and athleticism to this defensive line.
