The Juice is expired.

Thoughts? Unoriginal (i.e. "never got to find the real killer," cut jokes, etc) or original.

I was in elementary school when the trial happened; I was too young to understand all of what was really going on at the time (details, societal implications, etc.), but I nonetheless remember it being discussed/shown EVERYWHERE in those days. I particularly remember my parents were big believers in his innocence, which is surprising given their demographic.

Crazy that this is getting traction, but Washington has been 'in' on everyone, so I assume it's smokescreen. I'll see it when I believe it.

Isn't this just a sportsbook's manipulation tactic to get more money?

Start to move the odds and people assume it's happening for a reason. They jump on it before the odds shift further. Meanwhile everyone knows it isn't going to happen and all that money just goes into the sportsbook's pockets.

Probably, I may pushback on 'manipulation' in favor of 'market-making', but in principle I agree!

I think J.J. is the sucker bet for a desperate GM who didn't get in on the Caleb/Drake/Jayden sweepstakes. Which makes sense Washington would think of taking him at #2.

If I was a Minnesota/Denver I would rather trade with Atlanta (offer their 1st, a 3rd and '25 4th) if one of the top 3 WRs made it to #8 and get back in the late 1st (2nd and '25 2nd) for Nix/Penix and gain their 5th year option than give up assets for a trade up for J.J.

The sports version of fog of war are pre-draft smokescreens. Add in betting sportsbooks and there is a lot of dung flown around this week to make money.
