2k or live series

I have only had NBA live games, but what do people who have had both games or 2k think is better? I have heard a lot of good think about 2k but not much of Live. Also if anyone has heard anything about 2k9 or live 09. Thanks

I think this year is gonna be hard cuz they both finally look really good vs before when one destroyed the other.

I think what really sets 2k apart previously is the amount of time they put into opponent AI. Live is always just dribble it up and beat your man 1 on 1 and make a highlight. In 2K, especially on hard the team will shut down your driving games double and trap players etc..

I also like the amount of variation to the animation in 2k, although line has improved on these aspects recently.

2k is better in all aspects except for visual. The replay feature is also way better on live. IDK what they're adding though...

I was a loyal fan to Live and EA sports....But buying Live 08 and being very disapointed with it...I finally gave 2k a chance, Best move i have ever made....Im never looking back

Does 2K have the 5 on 5 Team Play feature?

Man that is the most fun part of NBA Live 08... couldn't go without it at this point.

EASports in general is crap. By far one of the worst gaming companies out there.

2k is far and away better than anything EA has ever put out.

What sucks hardcore is that 2k is no longer making a college basketball game, so now I can't play NFL or NCAA basketball games.

yea i agree nba live is an arcade nba game, more like NBA jam . Now 2k is way better if u want to earn your hoops and play real basketball play 2k which i LOVE cant wait for this years, if u want to just run and score and have tons of dunks and no D play live, thats it plain and simple.

EA just throws money around rather then make a better game.

I've been down with 2K since NFL 2K on DC back in '99 - It just feels right, I mean the innovataion was beautiful - hide your plays from the other guys by showing them on the VMU and not the screen.......from there I was hooked.

I haven't bought an EA product sine the Cornered the NFL License.....and now they reupped it to 2015...wtf?!?
