Just as long as he knows it's kyrie's team.
No more Leiso.
But serious I'm kind of iffy about It. I would love to have the best player in the nba on this team but it would be hard for this city to take him back.
We know it, he knows it.

Thankfully there is this a widely known and generally understood concept known as a "metro area".

They may call the area Cleveland/Akron/Canton/Youngstown/etc, but most people rarely travel outside their home area. There's also no special bonus for calling yourself a "Clevelander" in the area. Unless you're talking to someone from outside the area, anyone from the area ... would just be thinking ... "Oh. you live in the city. That's too bad."

Heck, even when I moved away from town I used to say I was from _____, Ohio ... and then when I got the expected blank look in return, I'd add on that it's near Cleveland.

But hey, Cleveland and Independence are close to LeBron's pad in Bath. That's the attraction.

Thats what heat FAN :chuckles: thought when miami was called wade county. Lebron will get all the love

Let's be very clear.

Kyrie would be Robin.

I wouldn't exactly go THAT far. Kyrie is 20 years old and hitting game winners left and right. LeBron and Kyrie are 2 different players. LeBron is Powerful and Kyrie is "sneaky". Their both gonna have their stellar, outstanding, phenomenal games. Deciding that one is Batman and one is Robin is complete nonsense. They play 2 VERY different games. Sure LeBron may be better in some areas, but there are things Kyrie can do that LeBron can't. Instead of saying Batman/Robin, LeBron will be Superman and Kyrie will be Batman.

Completely false. I know lots of people who live in or around Akron that commute to Cleveland regularly for work. It's only a 30 mile distance.

Pretending he's not from Cleveland after The Decision was, and still is, beyond pathetic. And those defending that are even worse.

This is the only forum on the Internet where you wouldn't get laughed off of for thinking it would be "Irving's Team."

I wonder why that is?

Maybe because it's the website that actually knows alot about both LeBron and Kyrie?

I was actually going for the "It's a Cavs website heavily biased in favor of Kyrie Irving and against LeBron James" angle...

Why would we be, it isn't like Kyrie is home grown or anything.

Probably because he plays for the Cavs and hasn't soiled his reputation (yet) in the eyes of the fans like LeBron did.

But you knew that already and are just being cute.

Personally I think the "maybe I'm coming back talk" is carefully constructed PR nonsense and that anyone that buys into it and think we should plan our rebuild around it needs to be tossed into the lake.

Actually, water levels are at an all-time low in the Great Lakes, right now, so by the time you get someone to Lake Erie and wanted to throw them in, you would collapse from exhaustion.
