#77, Duke Johnson, RB, Miami

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think the better comparison is the one that Farmer mentioned last night. Brian Westbrook 2.0.

His receiving ability will be nice, hopefully he can learn to be a more willing blocker. Definate play maker though.

I thought Jay Ajayi is the better receiving running back option, but I didn't know Ajayi has a bone on bone situation with his knee. With that knowledge, I have no issue with Duke Johnson in the third. West and Crow gained a lot of fan support last season because they outperformed Tate, but they were still inconsistent. I think West was drafted to be a backup power back, and he can stay in that role.

The hole at fullback / H-back is still glaring.

Very pleased with this pick, Duke is a beast. He was Miami football the last couple years.

Just watched the highlights. Best porn name ever.

Hope this spells the end of West.

With how much I expect us to run we're going to need 3 backs.

That being said, if he can't deal with being part of a rotation then I'm guessing they'll send him packing.

Yes, it's very enjoyable when it works to the tune of 250 yards per game. Unfortunately, there is a 0% chance this Browns team comes anywhere close to that sort of effectiveness seen by OSU in those 3 games (or any NFL team for that matter. Those rushing numbers were absurd)

So does this mean the team's 3rd rounder last year was also a flop? or is Duke a complimentary back to what West provides? Where does that leave Crowell?

The front office has seemed less than impressed with his attitude, and I don't think its gotten better.

On another note, who do you think will be the first talking head to make a bad brown pants/dookie joke if he makes a bad play?
