I know you are being facetious but this happens. Guys will hide injuries gotten off the field until practice starts. Then as soon as they can, pull up with the limp or grab the shoulder on their first reach. So sadly enough, this is possible.

I guess it's possible. Just highly improbable. Is it more likely he hurt himself drinking in a club or playing football?

This type of speculation is fueled by nothing more than wild guesses and assumptions. Guys get dinged up in practice, it's not a big deal.

Wow, well this kid is getting some tough love. Way too early to tell how this one will pan out, but I'd bet my money on him.

Very matter-of-fact.. JG has plenty to learn out there. I was (ignorantly) not even worried about him coming into the season. It seemed like he was shining in the early part of mini/training camp.

Every CB is struggling in the NFL-- the refs are making it impossible for them to do their job.

Pettine is making him earn the starting job, not just throwing him a bone and play him as a nickel.

When put into context, the extent of Gilbert's struggles pale in comparison to the other two starting CB's, though.
