This was almost certainly leaked by Milwaukee or Philadelphia to get Embiid to drop. And it will most likely work fantastically. Gilbert is not going to sign off on someone with so many potential injury concerns.

WTF..

At least I didn't get my hopes up about Embiid...had a feeling he was probably too good to be true. Hope if he's injured it's just a minor thing but can't see the Cavs taking a huge injury risk with the #1 pick after the Bennett fiasco last year.

Jabari Parker here we (probably) come which is still a hell of alot better than I expected just a month ago.

I'm not going to overreact to this news. It's a foot injury. It's not an ACL. It could just be a minor foot injury. I broke a bone in my foot once and was back playing in less than 2 months. Most likely means that we will just miss him in summer league.

Given his overall rawness and development, it is extremely disappointing as he won't be able to workout for months.
