I hope we make Kirk spend the entire year working on his body. Dude needs to convert a few lbs into muscle. I like his game though, very impressed with his jumper.

Kirk could be a Brad Miller like player some day, maybe not quite as good, but not far off. Miller went undrafted because of a work ethic issue, was also a white 7 foot player with 3 point range. I do think miller is a much better passer than Kirk, but the rest of their skills are very similar.

I would take a poor man's B Miller from him for sure.

He was sent down for this weekend. It's the right place for him since he's not getting any minutes at all. I guess they're keeping Cherry around since Dellevadova is hurt, or he'd be there too.

Cavaliers Recall Alex Kirk from the Canton Charge

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have recalled center Alex Kirk from the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.
Kirk has played in three games (all starts) for the Charge this season with averages of 23.7 points on .483 shooting, 9.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 39.3 minutes per game. He has appeared in two games for the Cavs this season.
