I'm not even going to begin to say how awful this idea is from all sides. Let's try to keep this to realistic ideas please

I'd prefer to work out some kind of trade for Wilcox without giving up too much. I'd address the the hole at C when Z retires in the draft. As far as the 2 guard position, hopefully something comes up where we can use Wally's expiring.

A cheap trade for Wilcox... without a third team... the best I can come up with is Snow plus a first, maybe they'll take Snow + 2nd + 3 mil cash? I tried basing one around Sasha, but we couldn't make the salaries work without losing someone good.

hmmm...i like the idea of Camby being on the team, but i doubt ferry would...ya know...since Camby tried to kill him with a hammer fist. Surprisingly though, I'm starting to soften up to the idea of VC coming here. Ideally I would like a Gerald Wallace, but I heard that Larry Brown is in love with him. Bosh sounds awesome in 2010, but it's still up in the air to wether or not we should bank on him coming here. I want to win now...now now now...or I'll ultimately have an anxiety attack upon the arival of 2010. Pins and needles.

Wilcox is expiring so they'd want some talent for him if they gave him up. Pavs isn't talent and I don't want to give up West or AV so I guess it woul be to hard of a trade to do unless we added a third team.

That was pretty much my point, except I think to them, Sasha could be talent. He'd probably be an improvement over Damien Wilkins.

But, while Wilcox seems like he'd be a nice inexpensive piece, we just don't have anything OKC wants.

Well yes but so would Eric Snow lol. But seriously I don't think anyone unless they think that they have a shot at LBJ would trade for a player like Pavs just because he is a 2010 expiring. Plus if Wilcox thinks he is worth more money than he is then we won't be able to resign him. That sucks because we could give up a potential trade filler for someone in the contract area of Paul Pierce (not saying to trade for Pierce). But on the other hand it would round out our other positions (PF and SG).

On a Dallas fan forum they are wondering whether they should trade Dirk or not. I think they should trade him to us he would be awesome here, and with him and Z can you imagine the offensive spreading and the easy lanes for LBJ, and if they didn't close out on our two bigs then they could easily shoot a 20 footer.

While I'd take Dirk here no questions asked, I just wonder how our defense would be with Z and Dirk starting.

Also, they'd want at least Wally, Snow, and 2 firsts for him most likely, or they try and move Terry or Dampier with him.

See that is a big question for me to, but any big player that we bring here is going to have defensive issues unless it's a defense first guy. Dirk was actually on some good Dallas teams and made the finals so the playoff experience is there. No choking in the finals for him. Plus I wouldn't mind Terry with him. Dampier on the other han no way we trade for him.

That is the best one I could come up with. We could change Pavs and AV, but I want to keep AV. Although AV wouldn't be happy with Dirk coming here I am sure. Maybe AV would be the better player to fill in there. I just thought well Pavs ain't playing any way so why not.

snow + 2nd for wilcox
wally + 1st for SJax + harrington or salmons + kenny thomas.

get er done.

I doubt we will trade Snow. Might as weel keep him out of scenarios. But Wilcox/Wilkins isn't a bad combo to trade for. I like Wilkins as a scorer off the bench.

For PF one between Kirilenko,Randolph and Harrington
