Anderson Varejao

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That 30 day loophole was closed under the new CBA. There's no way to have Varejao on this team next year for any less than his currently structured contract.

He can never be traded.....and I'm going to stop pushing it. Idc if he gets hurt game 1

He represents Cleveland too much I want us to hog Andy until he retires

I just listened to it. He has always been my favorite Cav, still is. He is a class act. His English has gotten so good BTW haha.

LeBron's letter didnt make me cry or anything, this did. Its just a shame that these guys never get the attention and credit they deserve. But then again, Im sure they prefer it that way. The only jersey I own of any sports is an Andy jersey and Ill cherish it forever!

Andy has always been my personal favorite Cavs player these past several years. I'm just as happy and excited for him with all of today's news.

I had to hunt for this thread to just say that I'm as happy for Andy as I possibly could be. Perhaps my favorite cav ever that has lived through some rough times both as a cav and personally. I want him go get a ring of five almost as much as I want them for my city. Congrats Andy.. I hope the random health stuff is forever behind you.

watching bron and andy run pick and roll together now the chosen 2 can hit that foul line shot should be fun.

Today, in brazilian NT training

The funny thing is that all those years ago when Varejão was acquired by Paxson in the trade that brought us Drew Gooden, he insisted that his primary interest was Varejão and Gooden was offered when we inquired about Varejão. Paxson made a lot of boneheaded moves (like trading away firsts or blowing the picks completely), yet Andy has been a long term asset to the Cavs and one of the most fun guys to watch. I hope he stays through the end of his career so he can be a Cavalier the whole way through.

Something about a blind squirrel and an acorn...

Very glad we got Andy in that deal. One of the best moves of that era.

The Gooden deal was pretty good. Former first rounder with potential. It was about as good of a cover for the Boozer mess up that we could've hoped for. Would've been better to keep Boozer, keep Battie, and still swing a deal for Varejão. Battie was in his prime, a good rim protector off the bench.
