Hopefully it won't be to bad. Ideally only a mild ankle sprain. May even be positive if isn't serious add it give a chance for Tristan in the starting lineup. TT with the starters makes sense

Yeah this would be great news however it looked a lot worse than that. I do know ankle sprains hurt like hell and almost more than a break when they first happen so shall see. What worries me is it is A.V and he has not been lucky with injuries.

As I mentioned in the game thread I was releasing the krakken when Andy got hurt. I finally had a chance to see the replay.

I hate to be that guy but does anyone else think that looked like an achilles injury?

When I saw it happen, I said to myself "ruptured achilles". If so, he'll need surgery and he'll be done for the season.

i thought i was watching the first quarter of an allstar game when Dieng drove by him and dunked the ball. if there's one positive about this injury it's that it forces Blatt's hand a little and he has to insert TT into the starting lineup (where he's likely gonna be a big upgrade over Andy)

No secret that I wanted this dude coming off the bench. Just quite not like this (shame on you Blatt)....

That said, I expect us to hit another level with TT getting a consistent 33-37min/game. I also expect us to run more small ball lineups.

I was at the game and watched Andy defensively every possession for the whole first half and my god is he a liability....he is killing the team defensively

Andy always seems to have an injury.

I think the most telling aspect of this one is that I'm not that bummed.

When Andy was injured in previous years, it was a crushing blow to the team. Not as much this year.

I'm not saying it doesn't hurt us. But Andy has not been Andy this year.

His defense is almost laughably bad.

I honestly feel Kirk could give us the same value as Andy...Andy was the problem...notice how the defense was much better in the 2nd half...

After watching the injury, that is an achilles issue, imo.

Deng struggled with one last year but that was after getting kicked in the achilles earlier in the year.

This one was a non contact type injury and that suggests at least some sort of tear.

Best case(based on what it looked like) is probably a partial tear that won't require surgery but he will be out a couple months at least.

Worst case is obviously surgery and out for the year.

Well he almost made it to January.

I have no idea what happened to him but my guess is he's done for a long time. It's like a broken record with that guy. Every season.

Hope its nothing too bad. I still wonder why we re-signed him so early in the season. With this injury + the way he's been playing we could have saved a ton of money.
