1 year old Bassett-ish.

Once the wife and I are done with city life, we are buying a Bassett-friendly house. We both grew up with the breed, couldn't love them more.

We used to live in a house with stairs, and while he adored running up them (which tired his puppy ass out like none other), he had no ability whatso ever to go down.

We can’t wait to get another, but in Phoenix, it’s really tough to find the breed.

This is a pit bull city, don't try and force your weird breeds on this city, lol

Actually you are right, I am not sure I know anyone that has a Basset.

Oh, yeah- if you go to any facility, it’s almost exclusively Chihuahuas and Pittbull mixes.

One is the greatest breed ever, misunderstood for sure, the other is an annoying ankle biter, I will let you guys figure out which is which, lol

Never thought I'd be a small dog guy, but we adopted this little dude (Cooper) and he's easily the best dog I've ever had. 12 lbs Chihuahua mixed with God knows what but he's a cool sumbitch.

One of my friends took this fantastic picture of my boxer last night at a nearby dog bar. He's got an actual professional camera that he uses for his wife's social media account. She's a local food/restaurant reviewer in Charlotte. This will probably be the best picture ever taken of this dumb mutt.
