Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For the record, I do really like Floyd's upside this year. He, along with Patterson and Hopkins, was among the receivers I was targeting later in all of my drafts that I expected to have big years. I only got him in one, unfortunately, but I got both Patterson and Hopkins in each of the other two, so I can't be too disappointed.

Still, White is a known commodity and is really good. Barring injury, I'd bank on him having the better overall season. I also don't like the idea of one-to-one trades for guys that play the same position. They rarely make much sense, as the players have to be at least comparable for the trade to be accepted. And if the guys are comparable and both play the same position, why bother with the trade at all?

Definitely agree about Patterson and especially Hopkins. I wish Nuk had a better quarterback throwing him the ball. I think he will have a good year regardless though. I watched every game he played in college and he is so talented. He didn't get as much hype as Sammy, but he was closer to his talent level than people think. He has some of the best hands I've ever seen. One of my favorite Clemson players ever.

Okay...now accepting advice on who to start in two of my leagues. The asterisks are next to the players I currently have starting.

Pick two RBs - LeSean McCoy*, Toby Gerhart*, Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson, Justin Forsett
Pick a TE - Charles Clay*, Dwayne Allen

I didn't even bother with listing WRs because I only have four due to Welker and Gordon currently being suspended and can start three. Hopkins was pretty easily the odd man out behind Julio, Dez, and Patterson. This is a non-PPR league.
---

Pick two RBs - Eddie Lacy*, Frank Gore*, Justin Forsett, Fred Jackson, Trent Richardson
Pick two WRs - Brandon Marshall*, Antonio Brown*, Alshon Jeffrey, Michael Floyd, Julian Edelman
Pick a flex from the guys listed above. Floyd currently occupies the flex spot, and it's mostly down to him or Alshon.

This is a .5 PPR league.

1st league you have to worry if Forsett can keep playing well. If he does, he will get the bulk of the carries. It's hard to say. A coin flip between him and Toby, in my eyes.

Your other league I like your RB's and your WR's. For the flex, Jeffery didn't practice and if he's not 100% going against 49ers, you don't want him out there. I would switch in Edelman. He is going to get a good amount of targets (7-10 last week, don't know exact) and should be good against Minnesota.

The main problem with Forsett is that he plays tonight. If I go with him, I'm locked in. Given Toby's ankle sprain last week, though, it might be better to just roll the dice with Forsett and see if it plays out in my favor.

Alright guys, 10 team ppr league and I need advice on who to start in my flex. Here's where I stand:

WR: Vincent Jackson
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Michael Floyd

RB: Lesean McCoy
RB: Arian Foster

The two I'm deciding between for my flex: Jeremy Maclin or Knowshon Moreno?

No question Maclin.

AP hurt my fantasy team worse than he hurt his son. God dammit.

Standard
Pick 2, (1RB, 1Flex)

Julian Edelman - 11LastWk [12 Proj]
Terrance West - 10 [5]
CJ Spiller - 12 [8]
Lamar Miller - 10 [4]
Andrew Hawkins - 8 [11]
Josh Gordon -

Leaning towards Edelman and West. Don't really trust any of them. Edelman will get yards but probably no shot at scoring big. Miller and Spiller are just as likely to get 3 as 15. Not enough on Hawkins to know what to expect. You would think West will get the rock, but no telling what he'll do with it and Crow poached 2 last week.

Jesus what an awful day for my fantasy teams. Charles scores one point and then goes to the locker room. Matt Ryan sucked it up against the Bengals. Megatron only put up 14 points in a PPR league. Toby Gerhart had fucking points. The Dolphins defense got murdered by goddamn Buffalo.

In one of my leagues, everyone except my QB (Foles) and RB1 (McCoy) have played and combined for 39 fucking points.

I lost three players to injury in the RCF league and now I get to sing quickly beautiful rendition of Stay With Me to Sam Smith. #cantwait

Sadly, despite everyone taking a shit on all of my teams, I may go three for three this week. Jordy Nelson pretty much single-handedly won one league for me with that 80 yard touchdown catch. His performance (40 points) gave me a 63 point lead going into the Sunday night game with my opponent having Forte and Davis still to play.

In my other league, I'm currently down 66 to 39 (opponent has Davis playing now and no one else), but I have Foles and McCoy tomorrow night, so I'm at least still in it.

I'm sweating a 15.75 point lead vs Adam Vinatieri in one league. I think I can hold that off but it's just realistic enough to worry about it

I'm down 2.5 and I have shady vs his Maclin and Vinatieri in another league. (1ppr)

I'm up 7.4 in another league with Shady to go vs Sproles and Reggie Wayne. (1ppr)

I lost badly to a guy who started Moreno and Jamaal Charles.

My three highest scorers were my D/ST, kicker, and WR#4.

Chris Johnson, Allen Hurns, Pierre Garcon, and Gronk combined for 7 points. Stafford and Lynch each had 11 pts.

Luckily in my other league I am +10 with Dwayne Allen and TY Hilton vs. Reggie Wayne and Eagles D/ST...I SHOULD be okay there...I think

I am sorry but I actually chuckled at work. That is just some awful luck.
