Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just proves that you need a solid draft throughout.

I got Jeremy Hill in the 8th and Mike Evans in the 9th. Two solid people for me thus far.

I have been holding onto Knile Davis FOREVER. I can't drop him now b/c I know when I do, Charles will go down and someone will snag him on the waiver.

Its crazy I drafted McCoy 1st overall took forte in the 3rd round and I got Murray and bell off the waiver wire lol

I did that this week. My oponwnt had foster on Friday when he was declared out I grabbed him up. Stupid me I sat him on my bench and lost

dude we get it, you run your own league and own all the teams. you dont have keep trying to convince us.

Okay, ten team PPR...pick three:
Jordy Nelson @ MIN
Calvin Johnson @ NE
Josh Gordon @ ATL
Julio Jones vs CLE
DeAndre Hopkins vs CIN
Brandon LaFell vs DET

Nelson and Megatron are pretty much gimmies at this point. The real question is at the flex. Do I play Julio or roll the dice on Gordon in his first game back with the Browns? Right now I'm leaning toward Gordon. With Bell on a bye this week, the only two RBs on my roster worth starting are Charles and Ingram, so I won't be using a RB at the flex.

Yeah, I picked up Evans off of waivers in my 12 team league and he has been huge for me. He's basically single-handedly kept me in the playoff hunt. I'm 5-6, but only one game out of the playoffs at present so I still have a chance.

Unfortunately, I play the best team in the league this week. Fortunately, his RBs appear to have disintegrated into dust. He's starting Asiata and Oliver right now and waivers are slim pickings.

This is my concern too. I did drop Davis because my roster was stacked and I needed the space, but I'm going to pick him up this week and drop Peterson (failed appeal) just to have the insurance.

I'd go with Gordon. I don't trust Julio at all with Matt Ryan and that putrid O-line. Gordon should easily eat into Gabriel and Hawkins targets and come away with at least 6-8 catches for however many yards. Plus the Falcons just let Mike Evans get off all over them.

Gordon is the play there.

You guys wanna talk bad drafts...look at mine (in order)

Lynch
Newton - awful
Alshon Jeffery - WR2 points at best
Montee Ball - hurt
Jordan Reed - hurt
TY Hilton - good pick
MJD - worthless
Moreno - hurt
DeAndre Hopkins - good pick
Eli Manning - worthless
Rueben Randle - decent pick
Novak (K) - meh
Bills D - good pick but its a defense so
Last three picks - might have 3 points between them this season

My other league was even worse...in top 10 rounds I took Bush, Stafford, Garcon, Chris Johnson, Crabtree, DeAngelo Williams, Panthers D.

I know how you feel, Kouki. Here was my only non-auction draft (not totally sure on the order):

LeSean McCoy - Terrible for first overall pick
Julio Jones - Meh in non-PPR leagues
Dez Bryant - Started out shitty but has been solid lately
Toby Gerhart - Bust
Nick Foles - Was solid but now out indefinitely
Cordarrelle Patterson - Bust
Wes Welker - Got suspended like two days later and has been a bust
Jordan Reed - Bust
Steven Jackson - Meh
DeAndre Hopkins - Good pick
Pierre Thomas - Meh
Charles Clay - Meh
Fred Jackson - Solid pick
Odell Beckham - Dropped him after he failed to do anything for several weeks, so naturally now he's a WR2
Robbie Gould - Kicker...who cares?
Rams defense - Were absolutely terrible the first month

Of the 16 guys I drafted, only five of them are still on my team (well, six since Foles is in my IR slot), and there's only one I dropped that I'd like back (Beckham). What an overall disaster, especially when you consider that two of my top three picks (McCoy and Jones) have been disappointments.

At least I got Gordon and Evans off of waivers. That's basically all that might keep me in the playoff hunt.

Speaking of...twelve team league, not PPR. This league is a 2RB/3WR format with no flex.

Pick two:
LeSean McCoy vs TEN
CJ Anderson vs MIA
Fred Jackson vs NYJ
Ryan Matthews vs STL
Tre Mason @ SD (I put in a waiver request for Gray to drop Mason, but doubt I'll get him)

Pick three:
Dez Bryant @ NYG
Julio Jones vs CLE
Mike Evans @ Chi
DeAndre Hopkins vs CIN
Josh Gordon @ ATL

Pick one:
Robert Griffin @ SF
Ryan Tannehill @ DEN
(I offered a trade of Hopkins for Mark Sanchez...which should tell you where my QB situation is at with Foles and Palmer both out)

My RBs on my pro league team were Peterson, Tate, and Bradshaw. Now I'm down to Tre Mason and Denard. Unfortunately the trade deadline is passed. I have RG3, Newton, and Wilson. Some prick in my league has TY Hilton, AJ Green, Watkins, Josh Gordon, and is starting Eli Manning. Wouldn't take any of my QBs for his worst receivers. Maybe I shouldn't have posted a poll after the draft of who would win the league, my team or other.

Shady and Anderson
Dez, Evans, and...GORDON? I don't see how you could sit Evans with the way he's been playing.
QB I'm taking Tannehill. Denver D is decent but 1. I don't think it's as good as SF 2. Tannehill is better than RG3 3. I'm assuming Miami is going to be throwing to catch up.

Yeah, I agree about Evans. For me it mostly came down to that WR3 spot. Gordon was who I was leaning toward. I just really need the win this week to stay in the playoff hunt and wasn't sure I wanted to wager Gordon coming back with an elite game right away.

Hey guys need a win this week. Going up against manning.

Ryan or stadforz..leaning towards Stafford.

Need to pick 2 out of Evans, Jordan Matthews, DeAndre hopkins and hikton. Thinking Evans and Hilton.

Thanks

Both QB match-ups aren't great. Ryan against CLE, CLE is giving up some of the fewest points to QB's. Plus this game will probably be low scoring.

Stafford against NE will probably be a high scoring game. You have Revis on either Calvin or Tate, but that leaves the other one prime to have a huge game.

I say Stafford.

Thanks I'm not thrilled with either option especially when my opponwt has Manning and you get 7 points per passing td. Other options out there are hoyer, tannahill, Carr, eli. I was offered big Ben for shady McCoy also
